Some rows don't add up to the printed balance
The flagged rows are highlighted below. This usually means a page is missing from the PDF, the bank printed a fee or interest line in an unusual place, or a figure was misread. Compare those rows with your PDF. If our reading is wrong, send us the statement. We'll fix it, and it won't count against your allowance.

Why convert to QIF
QIF (Quicken Interchange Format) is an older plain-text format. Newer tools prefer OFX, but QIF is still the only import option in some personal-finance apps, older Quicken versions and legacy accounting systems.

^Importing the QIF file
- In Quicken, choose File, then File Import, then QIF File.
- Select the account the transactions belong to. Quicken asks this because QIF files don't name the account.
- Dates are written month/day/year, as Quicken expects.
- If your software offers OFX import, prefer the OFX file: it carries transaction IDs that prevent duplicates.

What happens to your statement
- Deleted after 60 minutes
- Your PDF and the converted files are deleted automatically one hour after upload. A countdown on the result shows exactly when.
- Never used for training
- Statements are processed only to produce your file. We don't keep them, sell them or train models on them.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Uploads travel over TLS and are stored encrypted until they're deleted.
- No bank login, ever
- We only read the PDF you choose. We never ask for your online banking credentials.
Questions
Why doesn't my new Quicken accept QIF for bank accounts?
Recent Quicken versions only accept QIF for some account types. Download the OFX file instead; Quicken imports it as a Web Connect file.
Are categories included?
Not yet. QIF files carry date, amount and payee. Categorization is on our roadmap.
Can I convert a UK statement to QIF?
Yes. UK, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand statements all work.
